I am incredibly excited to share a major milestone in my professional journey: the publication of the first research paper of my career in the field of clinical pharmacy. This achievement is the result of collaborative international research and a deep commitment to understanding public health determinants.
The Research: RSV Vaccine Acceptance Among Arab Seniors
The study, titled "Perceived benefits, information, vaccination history, and conspiracy beliefs as significant determinants of RSV vaccine acceptance among Arab seniors," explores the complex factors influencing healthcare decisions in an aging population.
Core Focus: The research identifies how information access and prior vaccination history can positively influence vaccine uptake, while also addressing the significant barrier of conspiracy beliefs.
Target Population: The study specifically focuses on Arab seniors, providing vital data for public health strategies tailored to this demographic.
Scientific Contribution: This publication contributes to the global understanding of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) prevention strategies.
A Global Collaboration
This work was made possible through the mentorship and support of esteemed researchers across the region:
Dr. Noha O. Mansour: Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mansoura University, who suggested my name to the research team.
Dr. Doaa Hamed: From Al-Baha University, Saudi Arabia, who helped me understand the fundamental conduct of high-level research.
Dr. Muna Barakat: Associate Professor at Applied Science Private University in Jordan, who permitted my enrollment in this significant study.
Building a Clinical Legacy
This publication is a crowning achievement in a prolific academic year. It follows my recent Silver Medal for microbiome research and my recognition as the 1st Place Ideal Student at the faculty level. It also complements my practical clinical training, including oncology preparation and my recent Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Whether I am navigating a university-level chess championship or analyzing complex health data, the goal remains to bridge the gap between scientific theory and real-world clinical practice.
