Professional growth is a journey that never truly ends, and today I’m sharing a look at one of the most impactful steps on that path. I recently had the honor of attending the "Step On The Way" (SOTW) Conference, organized by the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students' Federation (EPSF) in Zagazig.
Pharmacy is Our Passion
EPSF-Zagazig has a long-standing history of excellence, and this conference was no exception. Being in a room filled with fellow pharmacy students who share the same drive and "passion since 1982" was incredibly motivating.
The SOTW Conference is designed to bridge the gap between academic study and the real-world pharmaceutical market, providing students with the "treasures" of knowledge and soft skills needed to excel in their future careers.
Engaging in the Conversation
One of the highlights for me was the opportunity to participate in the interactive sessions.
Voice of the Future: Taking the microphone to ask questions and engage with the speakers allowed me to dive deeper into the topics of clinical pharmacy and professional development.
Knowledge Exchange: It’s one thing to watch a review of a 7000mAh "battery monster" on a screen, but it’s another entirely to discuss the future of healthcare technology in person with experts and peers.
A Growing Network
Attending events like SOTW isn't just about the lectures; it's about the community. Just as our chess community at Mansoura University has grown to over 70 participants, the pharmaceutical network across Egypt is a powerful force for change and innovation.
I am returning from Zagazig with new perspectives and a renewed motivation to keep creating content that helps us all "step on the way" to success.
