The Ultimate Checkmate: 1st Place at the Faculty Level | Khaled Osama Yaseen

Praise be to God! I am thrilled to share the perfect conclusion to my competitive journey at the faculty level. In my final tournament within the college, I secured 1st place in the Faculty of Pharmacy Chess Championship for the 2024/2025 academic year.

A Legacy of Strategic Excellence

This victory is incredibly special as it marks a peak in my long-standing history with chess at Mansoura University.

  • Winning Streak: This is the 4th time I have won the faculty championship, showing consistent growth from my initial 3rd-place finish in 2020 and 2nd-place finish in 2022.

  • Advancing to the University Level: With this gold medal, I have qualified to represent our faculty at the Mansoura University Championship (MU Championship) for the 6th time.

  • Official Recognition: I am deeply honored to receive another public congratulation from the faculty leadership, including Prof. Dr. Manal Mohamed Ibrahim Eid (Dean) and Prof. Dr. Jenny Jeehan Nasr (Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs).

The Final Level 5 Performance

As a Level 5 Clinical Pharmacy student, this win reflects the same precision and focus I’ve applied to my clinical training—from mastering stem cell research at MU Pharm-2024 to the delicate accuracy of oncology preparation.

The ability to maintain a high level of competitive play while securing a Silver Medal for research on microbiota-based interventions proves that the analytical mindset of a pharmacist is a powerful tool on the chess board.

Closing the Chapter with Pride

Competing in these tournaments has been more than just a game; it’s been a "treasure" of university life that taught me tactical patience and resilience. To end my faculty-level career with a 1st-place trophy is a dream come true.
