Illuminating Minds: The Physics Circuit Logo | Khaled Osama Yaseen

I am excited to share a brand-new design for one of the most important roles in our community: a high school physics teacher in Egypt. Physics is often seen as a challenging subject, so for Mr. Eslam Salama, I wanted to create a visual identity that felt energetic, modern, and deeply rooted in the science of electricity.

The Design Concept: A Living Circuit

The core idea behind this design was to turn a standard electrical schematic into a personal brand. Instead of just using abstract symbols, I integrated the teacher's initials directly into a functioning "loop" of knowledge.

  • The "ES" Monogram: At the heart of the logo are the letters "E" and "S" for Eslam Salama. These are styled with sharp, geometric lines to mirror the precision required in physical science.

  • Standard Circuit Symbols: I surrounded the initials with universal physics symbols that every student recognizes:

    • The Lightbulb: Positioned at the top, it symbolizes the "Aha!" moment of discovery and innovation.

    • The Resistor: Represented by the zigzag line on the left, it signifies the challenges students face and the persistence needed to overcome them.

    • The Battery/Cell: Shown on the right, it represents the source of energy and motivation the teacher provides to his students.

  • Neon Aesthetics: I chose a vibrant cyan neon glow against a dark brick wall backdrop. This choice makes the design feel like a modern laboratory or a high-tech classroom, ensuring it stands out on social media and in educational materials.

Why it Works

A great educational logo should do two things: tell you what the subject is and reflect the personality of the educator. By using a closed-loop circuit design, the logo symbolizes the complete cycle of learning—from the energy source (the teacher) to the light of understanding (the student).
