Beyond the Microscope: Reflecting on My 2020 Design Journey | Khaled Osama Yaseen

While my primary focus has always been the rigorous world of Veterinary Medicine, 2020 was a year where I allowed my digital creativity to take center stage. Looking back at these designs, I see more than just logos—I see the intersection of art, identity, and science.

🧬 Where Science Meets Art

One of the most meaningful pieces in this collection is the Veterinary Anatomy & Embryology emblem.

  • The Concept: It features a detailed anatomical study of a horse, set against a golden, sunburst-style gear.

  • The Goal: To represent the precision and complexity of the biological systems we study every day at Mansoura University.

✍️ Personal Branding & Identity

This collection also features several explorations of my own personal brand, using the initials "KO":

  • The Neon Aesthetic: A modern, high-tech look with glowing blue and pink rings, perfect for the digital age.

  • The Classic Monogram: A sophisticated, fire-textured "KO" encased in an intricate gold floral wreath, representing strength and tradition.

  • Cultural Fusion: A design featuring "DG" set within beautiful, traditional Islamic geometric patterns, showcasing a respect for heritage and detailed craftsmanship.

"Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works." — Steve Jobs

🚀 Evolution and Growth

Looking back at these works from May 2020, it’s amazing to see how my style has evolved. These projects were a vital outlet for me, providing a creative balance to the intensive medical studies of the academic year. Whether it’s mastering a complex surgery or perfecting a logo's symmetry, the eye for detail remains the same.

Which of these designs resonates with you the most? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
