Art in Science: The Mansoura University Veterinary Anatomy Logo | Khaled Osama Yaseen

I’m incredibly proud to share a project that holds a very special place in my heart—a design that bridges the world of art with the precision of science. This logo for the Veterinary Anatomy & Embryology Department at Mansoura University was one of the most challenging and rewarding designs I’ve ever worked on.

The Vision: Anatomy Meets Aesthetic

When Dr. Sayed Shaban approached me with the idea for this department logo, he encouraged me to think beyond traditional limits. His belief that "there is always room for something better" pushed me to explore multiple concepts until we found the perfect representation for the department.

  • The Central Figure: At the heart of the design is a majestic horse, depicted with a unique anatomical overlay. This signifies the department’s core focus on the structural and developmental science of animals.

  • Gold and Light: I chose a glowing gold palette for the horse and the circular frame to symbolize excellence and the light of knowledge.

  • The Celestial Backdrop: Setting the logo against a deep space, star-filled background was intentional. It represents the vast, "infinite" complexity of biology and embryonic development.

A Design Born from Effort

This was truly a "labor of love". Getting the balance between scientific accuracy and artistic appeal required countless hours of refinement. Seeing this logo represent a major department at Mansoura University is a massive milestone for my creative journey.

"This is one of the designs I worked hardest on and love very much! ❤️❤️ Special thanks to Dr. Sayed Shaban, who pushed me to keep thinking until we reached this level! 🔥" — April 26, 2021
