Celebrating Another Victory: 4th Place in Chess | Khaled Osama Yaseen

Praise be to God! I am honored to share that I have added another achievement to my journey in competitive chess. I recently secured 4th place in a challenging tournament organized by the General Administration of Student Welfare at Mansoura University.

The Intensity of the Tournament

This particular competition was exceptionally tough, requiring deep focus and tactical endurance over multiple rounds.

  • The Score: I finished the tournament with a strong score of 5 points out of 7.

  • Winning Streak: I am particularly proud of achieving 5 distinct victories throughout the event, showing consistency against some of the university's best players.

  • Official Recognition: Receiving this certificate of appreciation from the Social Activity and Trips Administration is a wonderful reminder of the rewards of persistence and strategic thinking.

A Pattern of Excellence

This result continues a successful trend in my competitive history at the university, following my previous 3rd place finish in 2020 and 5th place finish in the 2021 University Cup. Representing the Faculty of Pharmacy in these intellectual arenas remains a point of pride for me.

Beyond the Certificate

As I’ve shared before, whether I’m presenting complex clinical topics like Chronic Kidney Disease or analyzing a high-performance tech "beast," the mindset is the same: always look for the best move and strive for a "better" version of the current idea.

"Praise be to God... It was a difficult tournament. 5 points out of 7... 5 victories, praise be to God ❤️" — July 27, 2022
