Professional growth in clinical pharmacy requires a commitment not only to medical science but to the institutional standards that ensure excellence in education. I am honored to have participated in the training workshops organized under the national initiative, "New Beginning for Quality Assurance of Education," held by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE).
Advancing Institutional Standards
This initiative, held under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater (President of Mansoura University) and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Attia El-Bayoumi (Vice President for Education and Student Affairs), provided a deep dive into the frameworks that govern academic quality.
A New Perspective: On a personal level, this workshop changed how I perceive the delivery of information and the dimensions of quality from the perspective of accreditation committees.
Quality Frameworks: We explored the standards that ensure medical and pharmaceutical programs remain competitive and effective on a national level.
Leadership Support: I am profoundly grateful to Prof. Dr. Manal Eid (Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy) for her continuous encouragement and for facilitating our attendance at this vital initiative.
A Multidisciplinary Journey Toward Excellence
This certification in Quality Assurance is a vital addition to a year defined by leadership and scientific rigor:
Educational Mentorship: This training directly informs my current work as the Scientific Head for the CSU Educational Program, where I am leading sessions on Research Paper structure, Soft Skills, and Presentation Mastery.
Clinical Precision: The same dedication to standards that I applied in this workshop is evident in my recent ACLS and PALS certifications, ensuring patient safety through rigorous adherence to medical protocols.
Scientific Contribution: My commitment to excellence has been recognized through the Scientific Excellence Award and my upcoming presentation at the ESC Congress 2025 in the field of heart failure.
Strategic Leadership: Whether placing 3rd as the University’s Ideal Student or 5th in the University Speed Chess Championship, my focus remains on achieving the highest standards in every arena.
Gratitude to the Architects of Quality
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the mentors who have instilled the importance of quality in me throughout my years at the faculty: Prof. Dr. Mona El-Neketi, Dr. Nada Fawzy Abo El-Magd, and Dr. Fatma Amen. Special thanks also to the presenters, Prof. Dr. Hesham Abdelnasser (Executive Director of the Initiative) and Dr. Hussein Khater (Training Plan Supervisor), for an enlightening and enjoyable session.
