Elegance in Every Touch: Branding for Velvéra | Khaled Osama Yaseen

 

It’s time to get down to business! Following my recent personal brand refresh, I am diving straight into a professional project for a cosmetic company called Velvéra. This design is about capturing the essence of luxury and botanical care in the skincare market.

The Design Concept: Botanical Sophistication

For Velvéra, the visual identity needed to feel "organic yet elevated". I wanted the brand to speak to customers who value both natural ingredients and premium quality.

  • The Logo Mark: I designed a delicate, gold-toned botanical icon featuring stylized floral stems. The upward-reaching lines suggest growth and rejuvenation, core promises of effective skincare.

  • The Slogan: To reinforce the brand's identity, I integrated the tagline "Elegance in Every Touch" directly into the logo lockup.

  • Packaging Mockup: To show the design in a real-world context, I applied the gold-foiled logo to minimalist white and metallic jars. The clean white packaging reflects the purity and clinical safety of the products.

  • Premium Color Palette: The combination of soft gold and crisp white was chosen to compete with high-end global cosmetic brands, offering a sense of timeless beauty.

The Interdisciplinary Edge

My background in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology provides a unique perspective when designing for the beauty industry.

Understanding the "why" behind product ingredients—like the research I presented on Microbiota-based interventions or the precision required in Oncology preparation—allows me to create visual identities that feel scientifically credible.
