The Heart of Veterinary Care: Designing for Dr. Vet Pet | Khaled Osama Yaseen

Following my recent work in high-end cosmetics branding, I’ve shifted my creative focus to another essential field that requires a careful balance of empathy and clinical precision: veterinary medicine. My latest project is a vibrant, compassionate visual identity for Dr. Vet Pet.

The Design Concept: Compassion in Every Beat

Designing for a veterinary clinic means creating a brand that immediately reassures pet owners of the care and technical expertise their animals will receive.

  • Anatomical Integration: The core of the logo is a large, warm orange heart, representing the emotional bond between pets and their families. Within this heart, I’ve integrated stylized silhouettes of a dog and a cat, signaling that the clinic provides comprehensive care for the most common household companions.

  • Clinical Symbols: At the base of the heart, I’ve placed a stethoscope chest piece, which seamlessly transitions into a teal life-line (ECG/EKG) waveform. Much like the "pulse" I designed for my previous pharmaceutical work, this waveform emphasizes the clinic’s focus on monitoring and protecting vital life signs.

    • Balanced Color Palette: I utilized a combination of warm orange and teal. Orange conveys energy, warmth, and friendliness, while teal provides a sense of clinical professionalism and calm.

  • Textured Presentation: As with my personal branding projects, I’ve presented this design on textured cardstock to give the digital logo a physical, grounded feel.

Branding Across Disciplines

This project marks a continued "attempt to return to graphic design" with high-impact professional work. Whether I am presenting Silver Medal-winning research on the gut microbiome or mastering the high-stakes precision of oncology preparation, the goal is to use clear, effective communication to leave a lasting impact.
